More Thoughts on Employment

If most people find a job through someone they know, then is the problem that I don’t know enough people? Or is it that no one I know knows of anyone else in need of a recent college graduate with a degree in communication studies? Or is it just that everyone I know thinks I’m a stupid waitress with no potential to ever have a real career at all?

I’m not stupid. I do want a real job, I’m willing to move to wherever I can find a good job, and I’m good at everything I learn how to do. I can read, write, type, design newsletters, plan events, develop PR proposals, create promotional materials (posters, brochures, menus, etc.), manage restaurants, train employees, make PowerPoint presentations, speak in front of large groups, edit news articles, provide excellent customer service, and sell anything worth buying (as well as buy anything worth selling). I’m nice, funny, reliable, healthy, intelligent, computer-literate, committed, and willing to learn. Help me out.
