Amy Malkoff

Sometimes, on Wednesday nights, I go to Coffee Blue in Belmar to see one of the busboys from work play during Open Mic Night. He’s pretty good, but over the past few weeks I’ve become totally impressed with this girl, Amy Malkoff. She’s only 16 years old, but she writes all of her own music, is an incredible guitar player, and is just so cute and sweet. This week she gave me a copy of her demo CD to pass along to my cousin’s husband – an entertainment manager in NYC – and it’s great! If you want, you can listen to her songs on www.purevolume.com.
