NSlider-1-2014 ResolutionsHappy new year from sunny Florida! Just kidding. It’s raining here. That photo is from the other day. But happy new year anyway. 🙂

I spent the morning recovering from last night, investing some of my HSA money, taking a few Salesforce.com online training courses, and reading Dave Barry’s spectacular review of 2013. (Read it — it’s hilarious.) Then I idled away about 20 minutes discussing the pros and cons of electronic warfare with my brother in this resort’s lakeside hot tub. We had the entire pool area to ourselves, thanks to the balmy 52-degree air temperature and steady rate of chilly water droplets falling from the sky.  After that, we had Stephen’s fiancĂ© and her parents over for a delicious Italian dinner (complete with my own bowl of gluten-free pasta), and later, we finally managed to wrap up Christmas. Well, it mostly consisted of unwrapping, but you know what I mean. And that brings me to the present moment, in which I have finalized the next 12 months’ to-do list — my 2014 new year’s resolutions. Enjoy!
