The Year In Review – Part 3

What did you do in 2004 that you’d never done before? Signed a lease

Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I kept a lot of them and I will definitely make more

Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes – Lauren gave birth to Caelin in October

Did anyone close to you die? No

What countries did you visit? A lot of this one

What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? A new boyfriend (a nice one!)

What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory? August 18th

What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finishing an 8K race in under 50 minutes

What was your biggest failure? Not getting into Navy OCS

Did you suffer illness or injury? A few bruises, a burn on my arm over the summer, and I was sick for Christmas with a bad cough

What was the best thing you bought? Diesel jeans

Whose behavior merited celebration? My parents for helping me move all over the damn country

Where did most of your money go? Clothes

What did you get really, really, really excited about? Driving cross-country to Las Vegas, moving into my new apartment in Virginia Beach

What song will always remind you of 2004? Everything Sucks When You’re Gone – MxPx

What do you wish you’d done more of? Flirting

What do you wish you’d done less of? Worrying

How will you be spending Christmas? I flew home on Christmas Eve and hung out with my cousin Joelle all afternoon.  I went to my grandmother’s for dinner and presents.  I was sick on Christmas Day.  I watched movies and changed the layout of my LiveJournal and talked to Rich and Robbie on the phone for a little while.

Did you fall in love in 2004? No

How many one-night stands? 1? 2 maybe? Nothing major happened, so I don’t know if they count.

Who were your best friends? Rob, Kristy, my little cousins, Andrea, Robbie, and Allison

What thing did you do that was meaningful to others? Donated nine garbage bags full of clothes to DYFS in Asbury Park, volunteered for the USO

What was your favorite TV program? American Dreams, JAG, The OC, Las Vegas, NCIS

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? No

What was the best book you read? Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

What was your greatest musical discovery? Death Cab For Cutie

What did you want and get? A digital camera, a laptop, a job

What did you want and not get? A trip to Hawaii

What was your favorite film of this year? Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 23, went to the Fashion Show Mall, got my hair cut at Toxicity, ate dinner at the Claim Jumper in Vegas w/my parents, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins, and won a little money playing blackjack at the Gold Coast

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Making out with (someone whose name I removed years after posting this) (yes, this is a joke)

What kept you sane? Running and beer

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Catherine Bell, Kate Bosworth

What political issue stirred you the most? I hate political issues

Who did you miss? Mike (but then I got over it) and my little cousins after I left Vegas

Who was the best new person you met this year? Robbie Roommate and Allison
