T is for Trouble

Sweet! I got my Tumi purse today. I was supposed to get it for Christmas, but Santa accidentally brought the wrong color, so I ordered it in the right color (Topaz) and it was delivered to my office this morning. It’s beautiful. I am in love.

UPS delivered it this morning. It was packaged in, not one, but two boxes. It was wrapped in plastic and paper, it had protective covers on all its metal parts and it came with three “Do Not Eat” packets! I’m sure my co-workers thought I was nuts when it arrived. They were probably thinking something along the lines of, “Wow, I haven’t seen this girl in a good mood for three months and now she’s melting over a damn purse!”

You know I’m not a logo whore (if I was, I would have just asked for a Coach purse for Christmas), but the Tumi purse does have T’s on it. But they’re Tumi T’s and they just look like a cool pattern.

Besides, T isn’t just for Tumi. T is for Trouble.

I’m finally getting a facial this afternoon – knocking out one more New Year’s resolution before the weekend – and then I’ll be packing and heading up to Jersey. This little girl will be partying it up New Year’s Eve in New York City.

And I’m back in the game. Rock star mode: activated.
