The day has finally come. My age and my favorite number are the same.
It’s been a busy few days here in Las Vegas. My parents, brother, and grandparents flew in on Wednesday night for my birthday and Easter, so we’ve been doing the tourist thing and trying to cram in as much stuff into the weekend as we can.
On Thursday, we hiked in Red Rock Canyon and then rode horses at Bonnie Springs Ranch. We did some gambling on Fremont Street Thursday night. Yesterday, we took some speedboats out on Lake Mead – we drove them all the way down to the Hoover Dam – it was extremely awesome. Last night, we headed down to the Strip to see the Bellagio fountains, the Mirage volcano, and the Treasure Island. Today, we’re doing some shopping at the Fashion Show Mall before I go get my birthday haircut at Toxicity (should I cut it short?). Then we’ll have dinner at the Claim Jumper, cake here at the house, and we’re finally going to ride the roller coaster at the New York New York. It should be an excellent 23rd birthday.
