Jersey Trip

I just returned from my most recent trip to New Jersey, get this: I had a great time! (I usually have an okay time, but never really a great time.)  This time, I was sad to leave. It could have something to do with the fact that I didn’t have to sleep in the bed with my mom. Or possibly that I bought over $600 worth of new clothes, shoes and jewelry while I was there. Or maybe that I spent an entire day traipsing around NYC in my pretty new white eyelet sundress. Who knows? Who cares? (Well, I care a little bit about my freaking credit card bill now.)

I totally had an awesome time, and I’m already planning my next trip back! I usually save the overzealous planning of the next trip before I leave for cool places, like Las Vegas and California. I thought for a minute that maybe I missed it there, and I should consider moving back. But then I almost had to run over a dude trying to save a parking place for his brother in the extremely crowded Pete & Elda’s parking lot, and I remembered why I left.

But, now that I have a bed to sleep in again (and my parents have a pool!), I think I’ll definitely start visiting more often.

This crazy trip has got me feelin’: happy
And I’m singin’ along to: Dark Blue – Jack’s Mannequin
