What did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before? Ran a half marathon, visited the Outer Banks, went country line dancing
Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I kept a lot of them and I will definitely make more

What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? A new car
What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory? May 10th, August 26th
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finishing the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in under three hours
What was your biggest failure? Still not having any health insurance
Did you suffer illness or injury? I
hurt my knee running, a few burns waitressing at Ynot Pizza, a couple
of nasty hangovers, and I spent one day in October throwing up
What was the best thing you bought? An iPod
Whose behavior merited celebration? Andrea’s – she’s hard-working, rational, understanding and a great friend
Where did most of your money go? Rent
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Robbie coming with me to Las Vegas in February, seeing Reel Big Fish in
concert in July, going to Busch Gardens in October, going to the
VT/Miami game in November, and spending New Year’s Eve at Webster Hall
in NYC (which probably isn’t happening, but I was still excited!)

How will you be spending Christmas? I was a little sad that my grandparents moved away to Las Vegas, so I didn’t get to spend Christmas Eve like I always do.
I spent Christmas Eve at my Aunt Debbie’s house with my parents, my
brother, two of my uncles, three of my cousins, my uncle’s girlfriend
Toni and her two kids, my aunt’s exchange student Saki and Saki’s
friend Nora. It ended up being a lot of fun. I spent Christmas
Day at my dad’s cousin’s house with a whole bunch of my extended
family, then I met up with Jamie, Buzzy, Jenni, Mary Jane and Stacey
and Adriane at the Boathouse afterwards.

Who were your best friends? Robbie, Allison, Kristy, Stacey, Andrea and Mike
What thing did you do that was meaningful to others? Gave them rides to and from airports and tried to be a better listener
What was your favorite TV program? The OC, NCIS, Saturday Night Live, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Desperate Housewives, Las Vegas, Big Brother 6

What was your greatest musical discovery? The Postal Service, Adam Richman
What did you want and get? An iPod, new running shoes, a digital camera, a Tumi purse
What did you want and not get? A new boyfriend (a nice one!)
What was your favorite film of this year? Garden State (It didn’t come out in 2005, but I watched it a lot.)
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 24,
After grabbing dinner at In’N’Out Burger, I spent the night before my
birthday partying at Ra (the club in the Luxor) with Robbie. I
kissed my roommate in his hotel room bed. I had lunch at Jersey
Mike’s subs, spent the afternoon at Red Rock with Robbie, ate dinner at
my aunt’s house with all my little cousins and hung out with Robbie in
the hot tub for a few hours at their house.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Not having to move out of Banyan Grove
What kept you sane? Running, beer, Robbie (until May) and Tom
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Rachel Bilson
What political issue stirred you the most? I hate political issues
