The Year In Review – Part 4

So, how do you possibly top a year during which you visited 25 U.S. states? I mean this was the year I got to see San Diego, Las Vegas, Savannah, Charleston, Richmond, Amarillo, Albequerque, Norfolk, New York City, Memphis, St. Louis, Washington, D.C. and Vail all within 12 months. I’ve been to the top of Pike’s Peak and the bottom of Walnut Canyon. I’ve had my feet in the Pacific Ocean and gone swimming in the Atlantic. I’ve shopped at the Diesel store in Las Vegas and in New York City. I’ve driven across the middle of the country twice and up and down almost the entire East Coast this year. I’ve been on five-hour plane rides and 50-minute plane rides. I’ve driven over the San Diego Bay and under the Chesapeake Bay. I’ve seen beaches and mountains and prairies and buttes. I’ve lived in four houses and one apartment in three states. I spent a week in southern California in January, three crazy months in Vegas, a drunken summer at the Jersey Shore, and the past four months in Virginia Beach. I’ve been, literally, all over the place.

So, I keep saying that 2005 is going to be my best year yet, but how am I possibly going to pull that off?
